A lot of Positives, One Minus

Here is an objective review from an American citizen traveling with ALL Chinese people. First, the good: The guide, Mark, was terrific. He spoke in Chinese first, then English. Info, instructions, even jokes that were not part of the script. The fact that me and my 12 yr-old were the only non-Chinese people on the bus never really became an issue.
We woke up everyday at 6am (once at 5am) but we had to. The things we were seeing were far away from each other. If you want to sleep in, too bad. When you have 6 hrs of travel time, you can't really leave at 9, it has to be early.
The hotels, and Yellowstone cabin, were fine. We had no time to enjoy the pool, but again, that's the way it had to be.
The lunch and dinner stops were fine. If they were stopping at an Asian place, and you didn't want it, there was always something else within very close walking distance. Or once, in the same plaza.
The bus driver, Armando, was always professional and courteous.
Bottom line: For the amount you pay, it is well worth it. To have to rent a car, hotel, and entrance fees, and have to do all that driving myself and pay for the gas, I believe this is a good deal.
Now, the minus. When I read the reviews before booking, I was concerned that being with all Chinese people, the guide wouldn't speak English. So I asked the tours4fun representive "Am I going to be the only non-Chinese person on this bus." She told me no, Chinese people don't usually go on the tours out west, just the eastern one. That was a flat-out lie. When I got there and saw myself surrounded my Chinese people, I was pretty angry for getting lied to. I was already thinking of how I would demand a partial refund for the false advertisement. Fortuneatly, our guide spoke English right away, telling us to "Follow me."
