Serenity Van Lines/Beckens moving company offered very poor service. This company charged us for services that were not fully performed, they did not follow proper inventory procedures, and they were very careless with the handling of our belongings, all of which resulted in damaged and lost items.

An extra servive fee was agree upon for the packing of our belongings prior to loading them onto the trucks. When they arrived at our home, the movers started giving us instruction on how to pack the boxes, a service which they told us they would provide. The boxes that they did pack were done very carelessly and when they arrived at our new location there were damaged or broken items in almost every box.

On the second day of services, the individuals packing of belongings made no record of the items they placed into the moving truck; no stickers on the boxes and loose items and no inventory list was made at our home in our presence. The movers also strapped mattresses and other furniture to the outside of the moving truck. We never recieved the mattresses and bakers rack is damaged beyond repair.

We have a long list of items we never recieved which equals to over $2500.
