My sister received a call from PMS asking for me. When she inquired what it was regarding, they responded, "It's personal." She gave me their phone number and I called them back. I explained to them that they had called my sister asking for me and if there was something I could help them with. The person on the phone wanted to "confirm my mailing address and date of birth." I asked her what they do. She says, "We are a financial counseling institution" and asked again for my home address and date of birth." When I asked her again what it is that PMS does, she said that I could look them up on the Internet to learn about them. I told her I wasn't going to look them up. She was very rude so I hung up on her. I have no outstanding bills; there is no reason for a collection agency to be calling me. I believe she wanted my home address so that they could send me a false statement stating that I owed a company money, fully expecting me to pay it. I think they're a bunch of scam artists!
