I turned to a Subaru Dealer as I thought they would be the best ones to work on my car. Wow, has that myth ever been busted. Since Subaru worked on my car in 2004, I've had to have more work done on it. I've taken it to independent mechanics. Two of them told me that they had worked for Prestige Subaru in the past. One quit after two days, the other after three. They said the integrity of the service department did not mesh with their morals.
Subaru has charged me for replacing parts and then I come to find out years later that my car still has the original part. They also seem to go through service managers at a very rapid pace. Not a good sign. I will not do business with them anymore. I suggest you look elsewhere, too.
