These people are just horrible. They try everyway imaginable to get you to pay an old debt without sending a validation of the debt. They will act sweet, they will threaten to sue, and when they find out you have no money they will get really nasty. Do not agree to pay anything, especially since they refuse to send a validation notice. Do not be intimidated by threats of legal action. Tell them that since they can not validated the debt then they must take you off their call list. Register on the Do Not Call list and send a complaint to the BBB and FTC. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.
