Paradise Dream Tours is a FRAUD
|
I purchased a 14-day/12-night tour package for 2 for $898.00 from Paradise Dream Tours in June 2011, the package to be used within 36 months. In August of 2012, I contacted them and arranged for a cruise to the Bahamas the representative assured me was completely covered by my package purchased, but that I would need to pay port fees of $100/person ($200 for both my husband and myself). I was given a confirmation number for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, so when I called Royal Caribbean and submitted the confirmation# they had all my information correct from Paradise Dream Tours, BUT I had a remaining balance of over $500!!!!! PDT had only given them $200 on the account (which Royal Caribbean is going to return to my credit card). When I called my credit card company, it turns out that Paradise Dream Tours charged my credit card $200 TWICE for port fees. My credit card company is going to dispute the charges of $1098, my moneys still controlled by PDT, and I am going to call the Florida and Michigan Attorney Generals Offices to file a formal complaints.
