I purchased an extended warranty on 5-16-11 with US Direct. While researching extended warranties for my 2005 Lincoln LS, I found the sales person at US Direct was VERY informative and helpful. I believe I received full disclosure about my coverage and also an e-mailed version of the policy coverage ~~~~~BUT, BUT, BUT CHECK THIS OUT!
On September 13, 2011 (106 days later)my car started to overheat & seemed to be shifting incorrectly. So I immediately drove it to my local dealer who has always serviced my car. I provided the warranty information and upon their attempt to get authorization, they were informed that US Direct/National Warranty never paid for the coverage. The $ was taken out of my account immediately and I spoke with Keri on 9-14-11 and she verbally confirmed my warranty was paid in full but THEY NEVER SEND IT TO ACSC. She stated she would have her off site accountant send the payment out overnight mail. They have NEVER answered the phone since nor has anyone returned my call after leaving a voicemail everyday since service has been requested. I will be hiring an attorney to resolve the issue. CAUTION - THINK LONG & HARD BEFORE YOU PAY FOR A WARRANTY FROM US DIRECT or NATIONAL WARRANTY SERVICES.
