Stay as far away from this company as possible. I was attempting to file for a remodification on my current mortgage. After attempting to file it myself and was denied, I contact Home Relief and they told me that I was eligible for the HEMP Program and could not be turned down. They also told me not to pay my mortgage and pay them to get the process started. My initial payment was $1,750 to get the paperwork filed and then $950.00 once the mortgage company agreed to a remodification. Three days after my payment and so-called acceptance, I found out my mortgage company's acceptance turned out to be letting me add the past due mortgage payments onto my current payments. Thus, increasing my mortgage payment even more. I have paid Home Relief a total of $2700 and did not get a remodification and, of course, am now short the $2700 and am worse off then when I started. I intend to file a report with the BBB and Consumer Affairs and fight this company to get my money back.
If you are considering hiring this company, please look elsewhere.
