Greenway Van Lines is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. My daughter, a young Marine wife and mother, was moving from NC to OH. She was given an estimate by Greenway, when the load was picked up - supposedly her load had more than double the estimate. After trying to work with the company directly and getting nowhere, we contacted MoveRescue.com. The attorney at MoveRescue was "highly suspicious" of the load size (1200+ cubic feet) based on the inventory so he contacted a special agent with the FMCSA who called Greenway. Greenway could not give him any answers on the phone as "senior management" was not available. He faxed them notice that he would be in their office in 3 days to do an onsite review. Amazingly, the next day (after we'd already paid $350 above the original quote just to get the load moving to her new home) we got an email from Dave at Greenway. His GM had suddenly remembered he told my daughter that he would give her another discount and she now owed nothing additional. We spent the entire day Sunday waiting for them to show up after their truck "had a flat tire" and then additional issues. Finally Monday morning at 6:45AM (after TELLING us they would be there at 6AM) her load arrived. After all was unloaded, my husband measured the space used by her load and it was LESS than the original estimate. All told, we over paid by about $600+ to get her things delivered. Save yourself a headache. DO NOT USE GREENWAY VAN LINES.
