After a quote of $800.00 to repair a refrigerator that sells brand new for $750.00 we got a real deal: Solder a little service valve to the system and fill 'r up with HFC-R134a (which retails at Wal-Mart for less than ten bucks/12 oz can), without repairing the leak that caused the refrigerant loss, for a total bill of $600.00 for two refrigerators. That's right: three hundred dollars for each fridge. Warranty? 0 (zero) days! Signed: Another Stupid Customer.
