I am surprised this company is still doing business. I contracted Brian to install shutters. He took 50% before the job started (and right away he dropped some raw material at my home). But after wards I had to call him 25+ times before someone showed up to install the shutters. He also took money for applying the permits ($150)with Pembroke pines city. That being my first home i didnt know what the process was so i did not enquire about the permits when the work started. They took atleast 2 months to complete the work and some dangling shutter prior to the completion. Brian kept on giving me weird reasons why they could not come to work (all very imaginative too i might add). Any case after finally they got done, after 2 months i got a letter from my home owners association asking me to send them the final permit from Pembroke pines. He is where all my real struggles started. I called him so many times and he always lied stating he would come right away etc. So to stop getting letters from my home owners i had to find the manufacture of the shutter and go there myself and get all the spec documents that were needed to apply for permit. That was a learning experience. Then finally inspector came and examined the installation and of course with my luck they failed it stating they did a very poor job of installing the shutters and now it is more dangerous to have shutters than not. So i had to find someone else to rip off these shutters and reinstall new shutters with proper permits.I sent an mail to BBB. And hence my original dilemma. How is this company still in business and more over have an A rating? Are you kidding me?
If you want peace of mind do not think of this company. Thanks
