BEWARE- READ THEIR CONTRACT CLOSELY - ITS 30YRS 0 stars

We bought a property and found out a few days later from the sellers agent that it had a lease we were obligated to for the existing washer dryer. This lease was 5 yrs into a 25 agreement according to Dadson and they wanted us to start paying for the equipment. We said we did not want any washer dryer or lease. They told us it would be $5000 to terminate. We are sending the money to get their termination as we cant afford a legal battle and dont want a lien.
Their lease agreement was signed by the previous owner and is completely unreasonable to a sensible person. How can 5 yr old equipment cost us $5000 to take away and quit the lease. How is this lease able to transfer to us without our agreement. How is this lease renewable every ten years (by their choice only) and again for a total of 30yrs obligation for the washer dryer. Oh and it can increase every year by 5 percent - we want out and we want our $5000 back and a formal complaint noted so this does not happen again. Do we really want to support their mafia style agreements or can we put these guys in jail for stealing from us.
I want my $5000 back and the lease terminated. I want to press charges if possible and have them put in jail for stealing. I want a formal complaint where these guys cant use that contract any longer.
