I agree with all of the above reviews as to what they have said about DSN. I have been buying my jewelry from them since 2006, and at first thought the prices were fantastic, and the first 3 items I purchased were pretty much what was shown and described on the air. After that, I started sending items back because upon inspection, the diamonds were not of the quality they described as Vs,VVs, or SI. Sometimes the gemstones were not as shown on tv as far as color is concerned. After I sent so many items back, they put a hold on me, no more buying for 6 months because of too many returns. Well, they had a 30 da. money back guarantee and advertise they want their customers to be satisfied. After the ban was lifted, I purchased more & kept them even though I would liked to have sent some of them back. It gets worse, I always believed Loren Blair and her description of the items, but I am now in despute with the BBB in Calif. on 3 items. One solitaire diamond ring was advertised as being SI or as Loren said BETTER, with a D color. Well, I had it appraised and it is a I1 to I2 diamond and the color is HI, the appraisal cost me $85.00 & I am sending the ring back to have the diamond replaced with what was advertised, which I know they won't do for the price I paid, you can't buy .80ct. dia. for 1,499.00 in 18K gold, that is why I jumped on the ring in the first place. Also, I ordered a Padpardscha sapphire ring with 1ct. SI dia., had it appraised, it is not a Pad., but a pink sapphire and the dia. are I1 & I2. Sent it to DSN for repair (they call it) they did change out the diamonds, to SI W/ a fer I's thrown in, but still the same pink sapphire, that appraisal cost me $85.00, had the ring looked at again by my jeweler and two prongs were bent and one loose, couldn't even do the repair right, so again contacted BBB to help me.
Customer service was rude to me, making excused, I was directed to the 1 person who handles complaints and he will not take my calls, left 3 msgs., no return call, so now all of this is in the hands of the BBB, I hope they can get results for me. I will never buy from these fraudulant people again, can't even look at Loren Blair, she is a lier too. I say this because when I questioned the solitaire .80ct. dia. while she was holding it up on the air to show, she looked at it under all those lights and magnification and said yes, it is SI, maybe BETTER. When it arrived I could see the 2 frosted looking inclusions with my naked eye, now you tell me. What she shows and what you get are two different things. I recommended this show to so many people including my doctor's wife who only wears VVS & VS diamonds, I hope she doesn't order anything as she isn't going to be very happy with me. It's back to retail for me, worth paying more to see item in person.
