I wish I could give zero stars. My story is not unlike the others. I ordered my Bender Ball in mid January and received it in a timely manner. Late February I noticed I had a pending transaction from them for $43.97 and immediately forwarded my original confirmation email of my order in January and demanded to know why they were charging me again and to refund in full. A couple days later I checked and the charge went from pending to hitting my bank account as processed. Another email, no response, so I finally called the company and demanded to know what was going on and was told that in my order I had received a piece of paper with a slip saying I was automatically enrolled in some program and if I didn't call a number to cancel within 30 days, I would receive monthly shipments until I did. I told the guy I never received such paperwork and demanded a refund. (I'm not usually demanding, but I've been taken by too many businesses lately!). He said that it had already shipped and upon return of the items he would refund my card. I asked him if there was a return label in the package, or would return shipping be at my cost, and he said my cost. I asked if I would be refunded for my own shipping, he said no. So, I received the item, sent it back, and now almost two weeks later, I have received a response to my original email. The person in the email said they would refund me $39.98 because S/H wasn't refunded. I emailed back it was not acceptable for someone to charge my credit card without my permission and then not refund me shipping when I return it. I have not heard a response, but I am so angry with this company, and apparently so are other people. I don't know how someone can keep your credit card information on file without your authorization and then charge things randomly to it, and then have the audacity to tell you they won't refund you until you return the item at your cost, and then not refund you in full, but minus their shipping and handling!!! I am extremely upset at this point and we'll see what happens...
