Sorry to say but there is not one good thing that I can write about this company. I purchased a steno machine just under 90 days ago from Acculaw. My battery does not hold a charge, it came with a paper tray that does lift up and paper must be squeezed into the side of the tray-a whole pack cannot be squeezed in either. To top it all off, the tripod just broke (with the locking mechanism stuck inside the base of my machine). When I phoned Acculaw to try and have these problems addressed, I was not only informed that none of these things were covered under my warranty, I was also spoken to in an extremely rude tone of voice. I was not even given the opportunity to complete a comment before a man's voice would begin shouting at me (I spoke with two representatives). Other students in my class have also said that accessories including faulty ink tapes and bad batteries came with the machines they purchased. Acculaw has an extremely rude staff and their equipment is unpredictable. I recommend you check out one of the other steno suppliers if you are looking to buy steno equipment of any type.
