Still waiting for my refund

My contract was canceled on October 10, 2011 and I was not contacted of this. When the payment was not taken from my bankaccount I contacted them and was advised it had been canceled. When I inquired about a refund I was advised that even though refund checks are typically sent out with in 30 days, because it is "the holidays" it is taking up to 60 days and that I could expect to receive my refund check within 60 days. I placed a call to customer service on the 7th of December and was advised a check had been cut and was to go out in the "batch " on Friday the 9th and I should expect it within 10 days. I don't know about the mail service in CA but it only takes 3 days for mail that I send from NC to Mich or FL to arrive. It is now December 18 and in the last phone call I made to A W Autopro customer service on Friday the 16th to verify the check had been sent the customer service rep stated that if a check had been cut there would be a check # attached to my account and there was not. She as sending yet another inquiry to "management". In the mean time, Christmas is upon us, I have an unexpected bill come up and they have over $500 of my money tied up in their refund department. Very Very poor customer service. They were all too eager to take my money, kept me on the phone for over an hour high pressure selling me the contract,canceled my contract and now are holding my money. Very frustrating causing me a LOT of stress. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with A W Auto Pro.
