While this company goes under the name A. K. Laptop Repair, its e-mail address reveals it as Camcorder Repair Dot Com, also located in the Los Angeles area, so I would think it is under the same ownership. TrustLink documents 8 complaints over the last 36 months for A K Laptop Repair. I cannot even find a listing for Camcorder Repair Dot Com, so I would question it even has a business license.
Do NOT do business with this company! They have repeatedly promised a prompt repair to my camcorder over the past 3 months without follow through. They say they are waiting for a part or that the part is in and that the repair will be made in a day or two. They even told me that the Sony website they order from was down for a week. Don't believe them.
Presently they have my camcorder and my repair payment - but not for long...
