How to Use Cap Mockups for Advertising
|
12/17/2024 3:51 AM (PST)
Hi! I'm currently working on an advertising campaign for sportswear and need to create a couple of cap mockups. But I often come across various myths, like that mockups need to be perfectly accurate from the very beginning or that only designers need this. Is this true? Maybe someone can share their experience, how they use mockups in their work and what advice they would give?

Mockups are not just the end result, but a tool for testing ideas. For example, a cap mockup helps you understand how the design will look in real conditions, and not just on the screen. Also, the myth that mockups need to be super accurate is also not entirely true. In the early stages, you can make rougher versions of mockups to understand the general concept. Do not worry if they are not perfect from the very beginning, because at this stage the main thing is to develop ideas. By the way, here is a useful article that explains how to work with mockups correctly:

. It will help you understand how mockups can improve a project at different stages.

Mockups are not only for designers. As a business analyst, I often use them to clarify requirements and check how the design will work in real conditions. Mockups help all team members better understand the concept and share ideas faster. So don’t worry if the mockup is not perfect from the very beginning - it’s part of the process!

Hi there! Great topic! Mockups are incredibly versatile tools, not just for designers but for anyone in marketing. They don't have to be perfect from the start; they are meant to evolve. Just like in the world of Pokerogue and Pokerogue Dex, where strategy and adaptation are key to success, using mockups allows you to experiment and refine your ideas. I’d love to hear more about your experiences! https://playpokerogue.com and https://wiki.playpokerogue.com
